*4* Day 2


Today is day 2, and I'm already feeling total withdrawal from some of my favorite foods.
Here's a run down of how the day went. 

Breakfast
Same as yesterday.  I think I was able to finish the Fiber drink even faster today-but I think it tasted worse than yesterday.  I'm very glad that after tomorrow, I get a break from it.  Finishing the last 1/3-1/4 of the glass is just terrible.  
I also had my egg breakfast, spark, and 2 Omegaplex. 

Mid Morning Snack
I forgot to pack extra protein for this, so I just had fruit-apples, raspberries, and free grapes.

Lunch
For lunch I had left over chicken from last nights dinner.  I also had a mixed green salad with half of a hard boiled egg, 1/8 of an avocado, and lite dressing.  

Mid-Afternoon Snack
Baby carrots and garlic hummus, with a handful of almonds

Dinner
Spaghetti with 100% whole wheat noodles, and no sugar added sauce with some garlic and onions. In the past, I have hated whole wheat pasta.  I just don't like the texture-it's too gritty for me…BUT, I actually quite liked it tonight! It was Barilla brand-so I guess in the future I"ll be sticking with that.  We also had steamed broccoli.  

Evening Snack
Celery with natural peanut butter and 1/2 a hard boiled egg

Water Intake
I was able to get in the same amount of water as yesterday-about 100oz.  Go me!

How I felt
Just ok.  In the morning I had a bit of an upset stomach, but nothing too terrible.  The spark doesn't really have much of an affect on me, I don't think.  But then again, caffeine never really has.  I'm not someone who drinks coffee or has caffeine in the morning, so I've never been dependent on it.  I was starting to feel sluggish around 2:30, but that is pretty typical for me even before the challenge. 

I can tell that my metabolism is going into overdrive.  I never used eat breakfast on a regular basis and sometimes didn't eat anything until lunch at 12:15.  Today, my stomach was growling at 11, even though I'd just had a snack at 10:30.  I am finding myself feeling hungrier throughout the day than usual.

In other news, I did decide to stick to the carb rule of:
*only 3 meals during the 10 day cleanse (or less, if possible)
*Only breakfast/lunch during the 14 day Max Phase
