BURN DAY
Breakfast
Meal Replacement Shake
I was a little off with my MRS. I had the day off and scheduled a massage for 11:30. I slept in a little late, and ended up forgetting to take any of my pills or a MRS with me. When I got home from my massage, I made sure to eat breakfast.
Mid Morning Snack
It was supposed to be carrots. However, I had just gotten 2 cavities filled and wasn't supposed to eat hard or crunchy things. I was out running errands, so I ended up not having a snack at all, shame on me.
Lunch
Avocado/Egg wrap. This was a recipe I found on Pinterest. It had a little bit of curry in it-which in hindsight I wasn't a huge fan on, but otherwise it was good.
Mid-Afternoon Snack
My lunch was later than usual, so I didn't really have a mid-afternoon snack. Dinner and lunch were only about 3 hours apart and I wasn't hungry in between.
Dinner
Crockpot cilantro lime chicken. I've made this before and it is delicious. Since I was home, I was able to start the crockpot instead of relying on my timer. Last time I made it, the chicken got too dried out. Plus I did it from frozen, today I did it all fresh-allowing me to pour the ingredients over the chicken covering it better. My chicken was much moister. We had this over a bed of mixed greens, with a small dollop of plain greek yogurt (which amazing was no different than using lite sour cream-except much, much better for you), some sugar free salsa, a pinch of Go!Veggie cheese, and fresh chunks of avocado. Think taco salad, minus the taco. It was so good.
Evening Snack
Kale chips-so good and NOT burnt this time. A few cashews and ONE all natural ginger cookie. I know, I know-I had a cookie. However, I found these at Whole Foods and checked the label before I bought them. ONE single cookie is only about 25 calories, less than 1 gram of fat, only 2 grams of sugar, and I don't remember how many carbs. It satisfied my sweet tooth that I've had for the past 18 days (but never had before) and did not include any corn syrups, granulated sugar, or butter. It was more spicy than sweet.
Water Intake
I was pretty darn close to 100oz. I was sucking down water all day.
How I felt
My massage paired with getting to sleep in on a MONDAY was awesome. I felt great! Then I went to the dentist where I had to have 2 cavities filled. One of them-the novocain wore off while they were drill-not a fun experience, so I was tense during the rest of that visit. Afterwards, I was having a lot of tenderness/pain in my lower jaw, so I wasn't feeling that hot. Aside from all of that, it was a good day.
